Because, sometimes, it can be hard to see that. Especially when you’re working behind the counter for almost seven days a week taking in hundreds of pieces of clothes or when you’re managing all the pickup requests and ensuring everyone’s garments gets back safely to them.

It’s so busy… and it being a nice, spring day makes me want to leave work even more. But we can’t do that so here we are with hung clothes, tumbling washing machines, and Molly, who’s handling the counter.

I’ve seen a lot of weird things.

I once thought that I laundered hundreds of dollars (I didn’t); had a pants-less customer in my store because he wanted his pants hemmed (he took the “Drop Your Pants Here” sign too literal) and had a father find out his daughter wore panties that said “Crime Scene” (awkward moment). And, of course, today was another one of those days.

“I’m in love with Juliette.”

In 2020 – like many people – we didn’t know what the future held for us. We suffered huge losses in that year and in 2021. But, 2022 put us right back on track. The comeback is always greater than the setback.

That’s one word to use if you had to describe Friday’s Curated event, held at Tory Burch’s global flagship store in Soho, New York, organized and hosted by Rechelle Balanzat, the CEO of Juliette Technologies. Let’s think of JP Morgan Chase, Andrew Carnegie and Rockefeller for a second… Where did they make their intros and build connections? For us, what better way to do it than in the House of Tory Burch?

Hard work, determination, and talent are all important pieces to the whole in creating a successful business. However, sometimes, those qualities are simply not enough to take a business and brand to the next level.

That’s where networking comes in! Networking allows people to make connections that can lead to opportunities for growth. Over time, JULIETTE’s founder, Rechelle Balanzat, has learned about the many benefits that come with networking and becoming a part of powerful communities and organizations.

Rechelle was using different cleaners and would call them to ask if they could pick up and deliver her laundry. Sometimes they would come, sometimes they wouldn’t. It was really inconsistent.

That experience sparked the idea for JULIETTE. Because she had no way of tracking her order, she would often feel stressed that something had gone wrong. Her laundry was often getting back to her late, or a delivery person would not show up at all.

How do you run a successful company in a post-Covid world? Among other things, we believe the key to success lies in a simple answer: the people.

Here at JULIETTE, we have dedicated employees from many different backgrounds and corners of the world including India, Vienna, New York, Miami, and Arkansas. We love that every person brings something special to the table.

Here at JULIETTE, we have a commitment to leaving as small of a carbon footprint as we can! In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we have developed environmentally friendly garment bags and hangers.

As opposed to many other laundry and dry cleaning companies, we have opted out of using wire hangers. Instead, we use black velvet hangers.
