In 2013, JULIETTE’s founder Rechelle Balanzat was able to get her dinner delivered seamlessly but not her laundry. That was a lightbulb moment for her and how the idea of JULIETTE was created.

We have the ability to change the voices in our heads in order to succeed. That inner dialogue is something we are all familiar with. There are many occasions when we find ourselves in situations where we are extremely critical of ourselves.

I remember applying to the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program back in 2018. I remember working late into the night on my application. I remember the interview process and being nervous as hell. I remember getting the call that I had been selected and jumping up and down like a little girl. I had to shorten my trip through Europe so I could commit the next few months to the program. Little did I know how much it would change my life.

Back in 2013 I had this great idea for a company. It was an app that would pickup, clean, and deliver your clothes in 24 hours. I thought it was genius! But there was one big problem - how do I build a company from scratch? As the saying goes “where there’s a will, there’s a way”.

It’s Friday evening, you’re grabbing drinks with girlfriends after a long work week. You decide to have a glass or...three of Malbec and start chatting it up with your gals. Around the second or third drink, you suddenly realize you've spilled on your $600 Fleur du Mal slip dress. Perhaps you were overly enthusiastic in your swirling or simply gesticulated too much at the bar...yikes...however, whatever caused it, you realize you must remove the stain as soon as possible, but how??? 

When I decided to pursue entrepreneurship, I had no idea of the adventure that lay ahead.
