JULIETTE started because I saw a problem in the industry: why can’t we get laundry as easily as anything else?

We’ve been here for over four hours.

“We better be getting overtime for this,” I looked over my shoulder at Skyler. She stopped moving her mop and looked up at me, “I know that’s right.”

I tell my team every day, “You’re a part of something bigger.”

Because, sometimes, it can be hard to see that. Especially when you’re working behind the counter for almost seven days a week taking in hundreds of pieces of clothes or when you’re managing all the pickup requests and ensuring everyone’s garments gets back safely to them.

It’s so busy… and it being a nice, spring day makes me want to leave work even more. But we can’t do that so here we are with hung clothes, tumbling washing machines, and Molly, who’s handling the counter.
